In representing my club I will:

  • Always play by the rules and never ague with an official

  • Always wear the recognised club colours and gear to matches and always wear shin pads especially during training

  • Respect other people’s property, club facilities, grounds and amenities at all times

  • Arrive at matches at least half an hour prior to kickoff and advise the coach and/or manager of my arrival

  • Follow the directions of South Wallsend officials or the officials at away games

  • Not use offensive language or gestures on or off the field when I am representing my club

  • Work equally hard for myself and my team so that my team’s performance will benefit and so will I

  • Be a good sport and applaud all good plays whether they are made by my team or the opposition

  • Treat all players in my sport as I would like to be treated and I will not bully or take unfair advantage of another competitor

  • Cooperate with my coach, team mates and opponents because without them there would be no competition

  • Participate for my own enjoyment and benefit, not just to please my parents and coaches

  • Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all players regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion

  • Thank the opposition and officials at the end of the game

Any breach of this Code of Conduct will result in individuals or groups being brought before the Club disciplinary committee and necessary action will be taken.

The committee believes that in the past, SWJSC players have proven to be great ambassadors for the club and hopes that by following this basic code you will continue to represent our club in the way that has given us the title as one of the best junior soccer clubs in Newcastle.
